National-League starts today with high-voltage matches
The First edition of the Red Bull National-League football tournament kicks off today with aspirants Sangam FC taking on League champions Nepal police and strong LH MMC taking on Milan Mitra Club in the inaugural match here at Pokhara stadium. Matches will be played after the official inaugural function in the lap of Machhapuchhre .
Second Match: NPC Vs Sangam FC
Nepal Police Club : League champion police have most experience players while 6 players are from national team. Police club is concerned over the injured Suraj B.K during training while Rabin Shrestha, Bharat Khawas and Jumanu Rai have minor injuries .
Sangam FC : Sangam will have home advantage and they have Ganesh lawati at Rs 50,000 for 9 matches while Santosh Shrestha, Arjun Subba , Niraj shrestha and Ajit Bhandari already join a training. This club is getting more and more donations from different organization of western development region. coach is looking for some foreigner players.
Martyrs Memorial A Division League 2011 Champions, Nepal Police Club is taking on Sangam Club in the second match of the opening day in Nepal National League Football Tournament at Pokhara stadium on Friday.
Nepal Police Club couldn't do proper training due to its five regular players busy in National duty but it's coach, Birat Krishna Shrestha believes that his team is ready to play in the Championship.
"We are ready but the challenge will be tough", Coach Shrestha said, "We can't take the match against Sangam Club lightly because they have signed players who have played in A Division league".
"As I said earlier, Jumanu, Robin and Bharat aren't cent percent fit but they can play in the first match", Coach Shrestha adds, "I think it is going to be difficult tournament for us but we are committed for the win. But the ultimate target is to win the National League title".
When contacted Sangam Club, Coach Puspa KC said, "Nepal Police is a strong side. There is no doubt on that. But we are playing at home and we will take an advantage of playing at home".

LH MMC : Manang is the one of the strong team between 10 clubs . MMC withdrew the Pokhara Gold Cup due to short of players but they are back on their groove as national duties of players have ended . They have seven players from national team of Nepal with some foreigner players.
LH MMC coach Views:
Caretaker coach of the team, Hari Om Shrestha thinks his team looks strong on paper but says he can't take MMC Dharan match lightly.
"We can't take the match against Mitra Milan lightly. We are cautious and we will play attacking game from the starting", Coach Shrestha added, "The opening match in any tournament will be difficult but we are ready to celebrate the first win".

The Coach of the team, Prem Ghimire said they have trained well and have made a "special" plan to stop star studded LH MMC.
Ghimire, however, didn't reveal his special plan.
"We have trained well and have practiced in such a way that we can stop LH MMC. We have nothing to loose and we will give our cent percent in tomorrow's match against LH MMC",
