I-League: Rohit Chand scores a hat-trick but can’t save HAL from relegation struggle!
Nepal star defender, Rohit Chand who is currently plying his
trade on Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has scored a dazzling
hat-trick game against Pune FC today at Bangalore Football Stadium.
Rohit had scored an early goal in 1st minute but after that goal HAL can’t continue the good game and Pune FC scored a stunning goal in 9th minute and they added another 3 goals in first half.
Till the first half score was HAL 1-4 Pune FC. Rohit added two goals as a defender in that match to grab a hat trick but wasn’t enough as their team lost 6-4.
With his hat trick, Rohit Chand is the first Nepali player to score a hat-trick in I-League.
With the victory, Pune FC moved to the second spot in the I-League table with 42 points from 23 matches while HAL who became the first team to be relegated from the present edition of the I-League stay on 8 points from 23 matches.
