AFC Challenge Cup 2012: Nepal Coach Graham Roberts: We Are Busy In Tactical Part
Nepal National team head coach, Graham Roberts said that he and his coaching staffs were busy teaching technical skills to the boys.
Coach Roberts said, "We have completed physical fitness part and we have already started tactical sessions".
"It's time to give more rest to the boys because the tournament is coming nearer. We can't put load on the players at this moment", Coach Roberts added.
"We are on the final phase of the preparation", Coach Roberts said, "We are ready for the match. As I said earlier, this tournament is tougher than SAFF championship but I am confident that my boys will surprise everyone with their good display".
Nepal are grouped with Maldives, Palestine and Turkmenistan in Group A.

Nepal National Team Coach, Graham Roberts threw party to the players in the Nepal National team camp.
The program was organized on Shivaratri night at the team hotel.
Coach Roberts said, "We had fun together
. We are working hard and boys need some fun too".
"The other day I let the boys go to cinema hall", Coach Roberts said, "It was a simple party. We ate, drank (soft drinks), sang and danced".
"Over all, it was full of fun. Boys enjoyed a lot", Roberts added.
"My principle is work hard, play hard", Roberts added, "Boys are working hard in the training sessions. That really pleases me".
Nepal National is training twice a day for the up-coming AFC Challenge Cup, which is starting from 8th of March in Kathmandu.

AFC Challenge Cup 2012: 500KW Generator Planted At Dasrath Stadium
Nepal Government has planted a big 500 KW generator at the premises of Dasrath Stadium to back up electricity for up-coming AFC Challenge Cup.
The generator was aided by China upon the request from Maoist government led by PM Dr. Baburam Bhattarai.
All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) is hosting the AFC Challenge Cup and have planned to conduct the matches at Dasrath Stadium day-night. The tournament is starting from 8th of March.
According to the Chinese Officials - who planted the generator at the stadium - told GoalNepal.com that the generator would easily back up electricity for five hours.

The Chinese technical team checked the floodlights, scoreboard of the Dasrath Stadium in the presence of visiting AFC inspection officials and ANFA officials on Sunday night.
The four pillars were sparkling to its best. The Chinese technical officials have repaired the lights upon the request from the Nepalese government.

Nepal National team head coach, Graham Roberts sat down with GoalNepal.com Saturday evening where he said that Nepalese fans match English fans when it is the matter of supporting their beloved team.
Roberts said, "I have travelled the whole world. I haven't seen the passionate fans like Nepalese football lovers. They match English fans. They follow the team with passion which I like the most".
"These are not flatterring words. l really mean it", Roberts said, "They (Nepalese fans) are superb".
"I am looking forward to see them in the Stadium in this AFC Challenge Cup", Roberts said, "I request them to be loud for the team".
"We can do good when we are together", Roberts added, "I want them to be 12th, 13th,... man of our team".

AFC Challenge Cup 2012: Final Inspection Team From AFC Is In The Town
AFC has sent its final inspection team here in Kathmandu to oversee the preparation done by All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) for up-coming AFC Challenge Cup 2012 which is starting from 8th of March in Kathmandu.
The team has inspected the physical infrastructures that ANFA boasts for the Championship in which eight teams are participating to secure a berth in AFC Asian Cup 2015, Australia.

Nepal Gets Hosting Rights Of Group D AFC U-22 Qualifiers!
All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has released a press statement stating that AFC has provided hosting rights of Group D AFC U-22 Qualifiers to Nepal.
The Group D qualifiers will be held in June 23 to July 1 2012.
Forty-one Member Associations have entered the fray to grab 15 spots in the final competition to be played in 2013. The qualifiers will take place from June 23 to July 3, 2012 in seven centralised venues.
The teams were divided into six groups of six teams each and one group of five. They will play one-round league format and the top two teams will qualify for the tournament proper along with the best third-placed team in all the groups. The hosts of the Finals will get a direct berth.

AFC Challenge Cup 2012: Semifinals, Final Match To Be Played Under Lights
All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) CEO, Indraman Tuladhar reveals GoalNepal.com that the Local Organizing committee (LOC) is committed to conduct both semifinals and final match of AFC Challenge Cup under lights.
Nepal is hosting the AFC Challenge Cup 2012 in Kathmandu strating from 8th of March. Two stadiums; Dasrath Stadium and Halchowk Stadium will be used for the Championship.
Tuladhar said, "The Chinese government has agreed to provide back up generator which is expected to be fixed next week. This is a back up generator which will help us to conduct matches under lights".
"We will play both semifinals and final under lights", CEO Tuladhar said, "But the group matches will be held daylight".
The timing for the semifinal and final matches are expected to be rescheduled.

FIFA Ranking: Nepal One Step Up To 152; Still The King Of South Asia
Nepal have moved one step up to 152nd position in the FIFA World Ranking for the month of February.
Nepal collected 144 points to remain at 152nd position. Nepal are ranked 26th in Asian Region.

10th Aaha Gold Cup: Samsung JYC Enters Semis Beating Mega Three Star Club
Two goals in extra added time ensured Samsung Jawalakhel Youth Club memorable 3-1 win over Mega Three Star Club to enter semis in the on-going 10th Aaha Gold Cup Football Tournament played at Pokhara Stadium on Monday.
Samsung JYC had taken the lead in 76th minutes but the joy was short lived as Mega Three Star Club levelled the score in 84th minute.
The match was ended 1-1 at regulation time and extra added time was invited.
Bishal Rai A and Bikram Limbu scored two more goals to stun Mega Three Star Club.
Bishal Rai A was declared Man Of The Match.

Breaking News: Fight Breaks Out In LH MMC Training Camp
LH MMC players, Amir Shrestha and Zambo were involved in a brawl in LH MMC training Camp at Pokhara Stadium on Sunday evening.
Later, the heated situation turned violent as the Nepalese players and four african players exchanged blows.
The situation was controlled by timely intervention of LH MMC coach, Hari Om Shrestha.
Four African players have left the training ground.
