Three Star club started the goal scoring tally in 16th minute as Sahukhala utilized Prakash’s pass to take the lead. The league champions dominated the visitors as they ended up first half 2-0.
Second half started with blast as Three Star managed three quick goals as they Sahukhala completed his hat trick in 59th minutes scoring two second half goals. Nirajan Khadka added one for Three Star just before Sahukhala’s triple as they were 5-0 lead.
Jagjeet Shrestha tried great overhead kick but he failed to reach the target but not by much just before he tried a backheel which was saved by opponent keeper.
Yogesh Gurung scored in 86th minutes as Three Star reached half a dozen goals.

Defending champion Nepal Police Club (NPC) eventually scored 3 goals in second half despite dominating the whole game

As anticipated outsider Munal Club from Jhapa were hapless against strong NPC team who dominated the whole game. The defending champion got into attacking gear right from the start but all of their effort in the final third were not able to achieve desired result i.e goals. Jumanu Rai hit the post early on in the 5th minute of the match. On the other hand Munal Club relied on occassional counter attack. The first half of the match finished goalless despite NPC dominating against Munal.
The resolute defending of Munal Clun defenders finally relented against NPC attack in the 64th minute of the match as Jumanu latched his head on to pass from his team mate Parbat Pandey to give NPC 1-0 lead. Bharat Shah doubled NPC's lead late on in the 87th minute of the match off a rebound. Rabin Shrestha sealed the match 3-0 in favor of NPC as he scored in the 91st minute of the match.
The match had earlier been postponed from Day 1 due to difficult circumstance which delayed Munal Club's arrival. All the remaining fixtures has been shifted a day later than earlier published.

The white lions thrashed Saraswati club 6-1 in the opening match of the tournament. Although the first match was scheduled between Nepal Police club and Jhapa’s Munal club, the match was postponed as Munal club could not attend the game due to east-west highway strike.

It took Bishal Rai 20th minute in the game to gift the winning team first goal before Karna Limbu closed the first half with second goal in the extra time. MFC saw themselves 2-0 up till the end of first half.
Ajay B.Ka tripled the lead for Machhindra just two minutes before Ramesh Ghishing could add a chasing goal to drop down the lead to two  goals.
Karna Limbu then fired three for Saraswati to make the final score 6-1 on a game played at heavy rain at Dasarath Rangashala.

All Nepal Association (ANFA) have been fined of USD 6000 for violating article 67 par. 1 and par 3 of AFC Disciplinary Code.

He has also quoted that if he will play from RCT he will not get enough money.

Sarswoti Youth Club Striker Elias , demonstrate last season with his goal scoring instinct. He was chased by many club but he joined LH MMC . However , the club management didn't want to reveal the signing amount. LH MMC President Jamling Ghale confirmed his signing .

He scored 6 goals against Bansbari last season in league game. As he was second in goal scorer table with 17 goals .

Meanwhile , Manange have already started training for forthcoming Gurkha Cup football tournament.

There is no argument that Laxmi Bank Three Star Club has the strongest squad in the national football. Some years ago, Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi used to be called as the "Giant-Spenders" in national league, but things have changed now. While some clubs like New Road Team are still in financial crisis and have turned back from the A-Division league, Three Star, even after winning the national league has been spending lavishly on players of top quality available on the market.
There is no certain reason for a club to spend or not in bringing big names as the investment made in Nepali Football usually does not fetch profit usually. But, if the future is to be kept in mind, Nepali Football is the most strong and profitable sector to invest on. The cash rewards are increasing and even the numbers of tournaments are increasing daily. This is a good sign to the sector as the clubs and it's players do not have to pass their days doing nothing for good!
If investment is made wisely, it is certain that Nepali Football will progress. Looking at the modern day football around the world, we can even conclude that Nepali football , if given exposure and experience, can set a name in the World football.

 After a 2-2 draw against Taiwan Power company to top the groups as winner.

Three Star Club buoyed by their second round qualification before kickoff got to a flying start in the match against Taiwan Power Company.
It took no time for Three Star to fire a goal in the match. African new recruit Dodoz scored early in the 6^th minute of the match as Three Star took the lead. Three Star took no time to double the lead as Prakash Budhathoki scored the second in the 15^th minute of the match. Taiwan Power finally recovered in the 20^th minute of the match as Hung Kai Chun pulled one back to cut the deficit. Hung Kai Chun scored his second of the match as he slotted home an equalizer in a defensive lapse from Three Star Club right before the half time whistle. The first half of the match finished 2-2.
The second half of the match also got to an electric start but spectators were unable to savour goals early on. First goal scorer of the match Dodoz got in a one on one situation but he badly connected the ball. It was followed by another mistake by Jagjeet Three Star’s talisman. Taiwan Power too tried their best to score goal in the match but were unable as only a win would put them through to the next round. Three Star Club sat back and tried to hold the match making occasional counter move. Taiwan Power came close to scoring in the 78^th minute of the match but Kiran Chemjong capitalized his earlier mistake as he made a magnificent save in one on one situation against Taiwan Power’s forward Hung Kai Chun. His effort two minutes later rebounded off the post much to despise of Taiwan Power and delight of Three Star. The match finished in a 2-2 draw as Three Star sealed qualification as group winners while Erchim followed them as runners-up.

League Champions Three Star Club are afoot to the final round of AFC President's Cup qualifiers as they convincingly defeated Erchim FC 2-0 on Thursday.

Jagjeet Shrestha scored the opening goal for Stars through a magnificent free kick but Stars conceded a sloppy goal that pegged them behind.

Brilliant chance come in forward when Stars were awarded a spot kick but Jagjeet Shrestha wasted the kick as Abahani Limited goalie, Sohel made a good save.

Both teams shared one point each after an absorbing draw.

Stars will take on Erchim FC in its second match on May 9.

Amar Dongol
Before the starting of last season only few people had heard his name but this years he proved everyone what he is capable of despite of his young age. He sparkled in Ncell cup and League which also gave him opportunity to get featured in the national team and played few minutes in the match against Palestine and Northern Mariana Island. Amar was praised by every coach and every media during the league. He also won Best Striker award in Ncell cup. Amar guided McDowell’s RCT to the final of the Ncell cup. Amar failed to perform to expectations for the national team and in super league matches.
Anil Gurung
Anil Gurung started year with excellence as he guided LH MMC to win the Ncell cup and won also player of the tournament award. Anil bagged hat-trick in the final match of the tournament against McDowell’s RCT. Anil failed to maintain his excellent performance from the Knock Out tournaments to league and didn’t perform well.  Anil didn’t scored any national goal. Anil Gurung own best player title in Ncell cup and also came third in Ncell Player of the year award.
Jumanu Rai
Jumanu Rai had worst year in his career as he failed to perform impressively in any of the tournaments of the last year. Nepal Police Club failed to defended their title as they failed to convert the scoring opportunity. Jumanu was only scorer in Nehru Cup for Nepal but this year he failed to score in any of the international matches. Jumanu was also distracted by various injury through out the season which stopped him from giving his full in the game. Jumanu was highly praised for his striking performance against Palestine though he didn’t score any goal.
Santosh Sahukhala
Santosh had great year looking at his domestic league performance highest Nepali scorer in Martyr’s Memorial League and he also guided his club Three Star to win the champions title in his captaincy. He was criticized for being lazy in the field during the match but he scored when he was the chances came to stop the critics. He also scored a international goal against Northern Mariana Island. His goal was the best among the goal that Nepali National Team scored this year.
Chetan Ghimire
From nowhere is came into the national squad. Chetan scored his first goal after two year for the Nepal Police Club and it was must crucial goal for them in the league which help them to proceed to the super league. Chetan was badly injured and was out from a football for a long time. Chetan scored only one goal this year and it came against Samsung Jawalakhel Youth Club. Chetan also get chance to featured in National Match against Pakistan and Northern Mariana Island. This year was good for Chetan looking at his performance and his recovery from injury.
Bharat Khawas
Bharat Khawas had best year comparing to any other striker in country. He is only player to score hat-trick for national team and Bharat is also the highest score for national team this year. Bharat scored last second goal against Three Star to help Army to finish league in third position. The Army man joined Army this year after Nepali Police didn’t gave any interest to promote him in departmental post. Bharat also won the best striker prize in the league and finished in second position of Ncell player of the year award despite winning more votes from Coaches and officials comparing to any other players.

After a decent performance by Gaurav Manandhar Nepal trashes Bhutan 3-0. All goals was scored by Mananadhar .

At  10' min Nepal  stocked the ball home. After a colossal cross from Ajit , Gaurav headed the ball perfectly in the right corner.Subsequently, He scored a second goal for the team. He passed three defenders and chastise the ball in the left corner. Nepal was totally dominating the field.

At 70'min Gaurav completed his hattrick. Pradip Shrestha was fouled in the D-box area and Nepal was given a penalty kick. Being unnervous he consummately chastise the ball in the left corner.

Nepali International defender Rohit Chand joins Jakarta Giants Persija from PSPS Pekanbaru.

Nepali international defender Rohit Chand has joined Jakarta Giants Persija after the decent performance on PSPS Pekanbaru.He caught the eye of the capital side after several stellar displays for ISL minnows PSPS Pekanbaru in the first half of the league season that included several “Man of the Match” performances.

Jakarta Giants Persija will pay USD 3,500 and bonus.

It is believed that Chand only signed 10 months contract,

Persija Jakarta is one of Indonesia’s most successful and well-supported sides. They have won the Indonesian league 10 times and a Facebook page dedicated to the club has over 500,000 ‘Likes’. When Stars were looking out with a convincing victory, a minor defensive lapse cost them a goal. Dipendu Biswas cut the deficit in the stoppage time but couldn't help the team going down.
